Kids in Motion

The JLC has been getting Kids in Motion since 2006, and every year the event gets even better. At Kids in Motion, kids and their families explore real trucks, cars and planes, as well as climbing, jumping, trying new activities and other fun stuff geared at getting "Kids in Motion". This year's event will be held on April 10, 12 - 5 p.m., at Symphony Park near SouthPark Mall. Read more

Family Resource Center at Levine Children’s Hospital
The Junior League of Charlotte has partnered with Carolinas Medical Center’s Levine Children’s Hospital to support their vision of creating the optimal environment for delivering the finest healthcare services to children our region as child life volunteers or JLC Family Resource Center volunteers.

The JLC's Mental Health Awareness committee educates and raises awareness of mental health issues for Junior League of Charlotte members and the Charlotte community at large. Recently, a second successful documentary highlighting how children cope won two Telly awards. Read More

Lights! Camera! Fashion! is coming your way on September 19, and it promises to be an action-packed evening! The event will feature a runway fashion show, 20% shopping discount (with very limited exclusions), storewide fashion events for men and women, and special appearances by Kwame Jackson, star of The Apprentice and named to People’s Most Beautiful People, and Carolina Panthers players Tony Pike and Jeff King. Volunteers are needed for Kids HealthLink, an event that provides free health screenings and immunizations to local children!
