Raffle Drawing Procedures
Ticket Sales
Advance ticket sales are available until noon March 22, 2012, the day of the raffle drawing and the March. Money. Madness. event. Tickets (raffle, party admission, ticket insurance and VIP tickets) will be available at the door from 6:00-9:00 PM the night of the event. Party admission tickets will increase to $40.00 if purchased at the door. VIP, raffle and insurance tickets will stay the same at $100, $50 and $25 respectively.
There will be a check-in table for those who purchased tickets online. Drink tickets and wrist bands will be distributed at this table. Please have your ID with you. Your ID is necessary to check-in and to claim your prize should your ticket be pulled as a winner during the event.
For each raffle ticket purchased (in-person or online), a raffle ticket will be entered into the drawing. Those who purchased his/her ticket online will not receive a physical ticket, but your online transaction will be entered as your raffle ticket.
Ticket Insurance
If an insured ticket is drawn and is not a winner, it will be returned to the drawing pool for the grand prize. If drawn as a runner-up prize winner, the insured ticket will not be re-entered into the pool for a chance to win the grand prize. Insurance provides a second chance to win the grand prize, but does not provide the ticket holder the opportunity to win more than a single prize or to exchange a prize won.
Drawing Procedure
In addition to the grand prize, there will be 16 runner-up prizes up for grabs during the evening. The drawings for the runner-up prizes will begin at 6:30 pm and the first announcement of winners will take place at 7:00. For each prize, 3 “non winning” tickets will be drawn and the 4th ticket drawn will be the winner. Every 30 minutes the winners of 4 prizes will be announced by the winner’s name. Tickets will be drawn at random. If covered by an insurance policy, the ticket will be set aside and will be returned to the bowl for a chance to win the grand prize. Tickets drawn that are not covered by insurance will be removed from the drawing. The grand prize winner will be announced at the end of regulation of the first NCAA Regional Tournament game (approximately 9:00-9:30pm). The tickets drawn for each prize will be displayed for the event participants to check throughout the night.
Schedule of Events
6:30: Raffle drawing begins
7:00: Announce first 4 winners (the 4th, 8th, 12th, and 16th tickets drawn)
7:30: Announce next 4 winners (the 20th, 24th, 28th, 32nd tickets drawn)
8:00: Announce next 4 winners (the 36th, 40th, 44th, 48th tickets drawn)
8:30: Announce last 4 winners (the 52nd, 56th, 60th, 64th tickets drawn)
9:00 – 9:30: End of Regulation of First Game - GRAND PRIZE WINNER ANNOUNCED
