Community Initiative Team

Done-N-Days:  Experienced League volunteers lend assistance to other JLC placements, special events and other JLC-endorsed community projects.

Kids HealthLink:  New JLC health fair for children in the Charlotte community.  Event provides a wide range of free and accessible medical, dental and developmental services, promotes physical fitness through demonstration, and advocates health awareness through various healthcare agencies and area business vendor booths.

Mental Health Awareness:  Strive to educate and raise awareness of mental health issues for Junior League of Charlotte members and the Charlotte community at large.

Project CON:CERN:  Junior League of Charlotte service offering support to area not-for-profit organizations to help strengthen their organizational capabilities.

Program Development:  Committee researches, evaluates and recommends placements and projects related to JLC focus areas and manages the operational details of implementing the League’s Cornerstone project.
