Started in 1936 as the League’s thrift shop, the WearHouse has grown with the League and remains one its most recognizable outreaches to the community.  Staffed by incoming JLC provisional classes, actives and paid staff, the WearHouse offers gently-used home accessories, clothing, jewelry, children’s toys, shoes plus consignments from well-known companies such as The Plantation Shop, Looby Loo, and The Poole Shop.  The WearHouse is currently the largest permanent fundraiser for the Junior League of Charlotte and is on target to surpass its $673,000 sales goal for 2006-200.
