Started in 1936 as thrift store, the Junior League Wearhouse has grown to be the place to shop for consignments and overstocks as well. Each week the WearhHouse receives donations from its members as well as businesses in the Charlotte community. These great items are then sold to the public at a very reasonable cost — all with the purpose of helping the JLC to continue its legacy of providing for those in need in the Charlotte community.

Consignments:

The JLC WearHouse also accepts items on consignment, reserved only for businesses and JLC members. If you would like to bring items for consignment to the JLC WearHouse, please call for an appointment first. Appointments are taken Monday through Friday between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. 

Other consignment guidelines:

• A maximum of 20 items will be accepted for consignment during one appointment.
  
• All items must be name brand, in good condition and clean, in fashion, free of problems, and NO more than 3 years old.
  
• All clothing items must be on hangers.
  
• Consignment for spring & summer apparel begins in March.
  
• Consignment for fall & winter apparel begins in August.
