I Scream, You Scream, We all scream for… Lemonade!?

Gear up for a puckering good time and some fun in the sun. JL families and children of all ages can join the Cornerstone Campaign committee in selling Lemonade for the Library. Sign your kids up to host free lemonade stands where proceeds/donations will buy books and carts for the Mobile Book Carts at Levine Children's Hospital. JLC and other volunteers visit patients with these carts, read books with patients, etc. Each book and cart can provide a great dose of caring and fun during a little person's hospital stay.

This is not fancy or complicated -- home grown and kid-made posters and lemonade are best!In your neighborhood, at your school, the skies the limit -- it's up to you! Next steps:

1. Contact Mary Tinkey at mtinkey@carolina.rr.com or 704-556-7534.

2. Get your prepared lemonade stand packet with poster, information sheet and goodies for the kids!

3. Hold your lemonade sale between April 20th and April 27th. (We ask lemonade stands to post flyers about Kids In Motion April 27th!)

4. Turn your money into the JLC (at Kids In Motion, the league building or by mailing a check)

The Cornerstone Committee will ensure books/carts will be credited to the children from your lemonade stand and/or your family per your request.

Let your children learn how great it feels to help others – particularly other kids.So don't be SOUR, sell Lemonade for the Library and "buy" a hospitalized child some fun for an hour!
