The Junior League of Charlotte’s outreach to the community is the foundation of the organization, and it takes dedicated, hard working volunteers to fulfill the League’s partnerships to various organizations throughout the year. The 2006-2007 League year is the official kickoff of the Healthy Child Initiative, and the community partners with which the League is working this year reflect the organization’s focus on the dental, mental and physical health of children in our community. CIC mobilizes volunteers to work alongside community organizations and provide advocacy, mentoring and public awareness, all of which positively impact those members of our community in need.
