The Public Policy and Advocacy curriculum teaches participants advocacy skills on the local, state, and national levels. In the class, attendees will participate in a city council simulation. They will also learn from city council members, state officials, and community leaders who share their experiences of advocating for change. It is open to JLC members and the public. Are you in need of Board members for your organization?

Organizations may request JLC leaders to serve on their board of directors or community advisory board. If you are interested in candidates, please email a job description along with information about your organization to us. Our nominating committee will try and find a volunteer match for your needs.
