Public Policy and Advocacy

The Public Policy and Advocacy committee is designed to provide Junior League of Charlotte members and community members with training to deepen their understanding of advocacy and relevant public policy issues. The program focuses on educating participants in advocacy and in navigating our local, state, and federal governments to achieve their public policy goals. Further, Junior League of Charlotte members use this training to go on to serve on the boards of nonprofit agencies and commissions, advocate on issues of public policy, and organize model community programs that address need areas to build better communities. Previous public policy experience is not required.

The program is open to all JLC members and to the public.
